ENVIORMENT PROBLEMS: 

The main problem of today’s environment is Global Warming. This has very harmful problems for example, new bacteria and virus are being discovered due to the melting of the ice in the North Pole. This can be very dangerous because we might not even know how to cure this virus.  Also, due to the global warming, there are also more problems like:

o    The destruction of the rain. Now a days, there it rains much more center and strong; this makes the destruction of some infrastructures. This is made by the gases of the greenhouse effect (CO₂, Methane…)

o   Also, the destruction of the forest, mostly in the Amazonas. The trees are essential to, produce oxygen, to store CO₂ and also to stabilize the CO₂ in the atmosphere.

o   And finally, burning fossil fuels due to the growth of the population. This is a very important problems, because due to the exponential grow of the population, we need more energy, and most of the energy is created by fossil fuels, which is very contaminating.

My conclusion of this speak is that we really need to save energy, and we also need to depend more in renewable energy, because we are destroying ourselves. There is no turning back, we need to find a better future, a future where we don’t damage our own planet, where we don’t destroy the habitat of other animals, and a place where we can use renewable energy every day, so we can appreciate our world better. 

ENERGY PROBLEMS: 

Energy is has also big problems, which could be fix with technology, but we are still trying to figure out how to repair this problem.

o   The main problem of energy is that we are not concerned about how much money we waste in energy. 1kWh= 6 cents of euros in the energy market.  In my opinion, this is not a problem that we should fix with technology. We should fix this problem ourselves, learning to save energy, turning off all the lights, and controlling the consumption of energy in your house.

o   Another problem is that we need to use more renewable energy. We depend much more in not-renewable energy than in renewable energy, and that’s a big problem that we can fix with technology. We can find another renewable energy or increase the number of renewable energy.

o    The last problem is that we need more energy due to the increment of the population, but before transforming more energy I think that we need to fix the problem that there are countries where renewable energy does not even exist. A non-develop country becomes develop when most of its population has energy. But there is a big number of countries where only 30 % of the population has energy, and we need to fix this. In my opinion, technology could fix this problem if we find a cheap renewable energy for poor countries.

EDUCATION PROBLEMS: 

Education is the first problem that we talked about. 

In my opinion, we can resume this to only one point. The biggest problem in education is that we don’t use enough technology while educating. We could really use more technology to help the student, like for example, there was this idea in China that, when a student was absent, instead of telling him the next day what the homework was, they installed a webcam in the class and the student could assist to the class through the web cam. But this is a very advance technology, another example is use educative games in some of the class. Students love computers, IPad… So if you combine what they like with education, they will really learn.

A big point is that while we are improving the technology in the school, we also need to improve the social problems in the cities and villages that don’t have enough money to buy and use technology.
