ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PANEL

AURORA MARTÍNEZ:

D. Mario Pérez Jiménez: What is artificial intelligence? What do we need to consider for making machines have artificial intelligence?

Brief information - Artificial intelligence  is the intelligence exhibited by machines or software. There are two main concepts: intelligence and artificially. The third one is associated to life, and it's main support is carbon.

Four main steps that decide if an organism has life or not:
- Dna replication,
- Make proteins,
- Be able to produce energy,
- Being able to produce metabolic processes

Arificial: Made by hand or art of man. Unnatural, false.

LUCÍA ITURRI:

Intelligence: Faculty of mind that allows you to learn, understand, reason, make decisions and form a certain idea of reality.

D. Mario Pérez Jiménez:

The wall can not be reproduced, there are basic and living organisms that can not reproduce.

RoboticsRobotics is the study of robots. Robots are machines that can be used to do jobs. Some robots can do work by themselves. Other robots must always have a person telling them what to do.

In the XX and XXI century we have tried to recreate the human complexity and features.

Feelings of Robots:
First robot to have feelings:

"It turns out demand for the world’s first robot with feelings is quite high: Japan’s SoftBank Robotics Corporation reports that the first 1,000 models of “Pepper,” a cute artificial companion designed to recognize, react to, and display human emotions, sold out online in under a minute."

PAULA HIDALGO CORONEL:

D. MARIO PÉREZ JIMÉNEZ
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the intelligence exhibited by machines or software. It is also the name of the academic field of study which studies how to create computers and computer software that are capable of intelligent behavior. Major AI researchers and textbooks define this field as "the study and design of intelligent agents",in which an intelligent agent is a system that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chances of success.John McCarthy, who coined the term in 1955, defines it as "the science and engineering of making intelligent machines"

D. AGUSTÍN RISCOS
Artificial Intelligence, which commenced publication in 1970, is now the generally accepted premier international forum for the publication of results of current research in this field. The journal welcomes foundational and applied papers describing mature work involving computational accounts of aspects of intelligence. Specifically, it welcomes papers on:
  1. Artificial Intelligence and Philosophy
  2. Automated reasoning and inference
  3. Case-based reasoning
  4. Cognitive aspects of AI
  5. Commonsense reasoning
  6. Constraint processing
  7. Heuristic search

JAVIER LADESA:

D. Mario Pérez

artificial inteligence is naturaly asociated to non living things.
the diccionary is ambiguous
the human, was capable of making living organisms from a rock.
life was caracterized from the posibility of replicating de ADN, make proteins, produce energy and do metabolic process
a virus need for reproduce the guest
inteligence is the capacity of understanding
the objective of robotic is creating machines that simulate the human movements.

D. Agustín Riscos
to the computer, you teach him how to learn.
Does a machine have senses? First we have to analyse the significate of that word.
