FOOD PROBLEMS

The main problema with food, is the huge quantity of malnutrition worldwide. The correct definition of malnutrition, is inadequate intake of food and nutrients, and also within their quantity and quality.

There are three main types of malnutrition:

• Chronicle : growth retardation of children, physical or mental development . ( feed problem along time).
• Moderate Acute: child's weight is below the size that he should be.
• Severe Acute: consequences like death. The child's weight is very low, what has a relation to their age and size.

Why and how malnutrition occurs? What does UNICEF do to help?

The first thousand days of a baby are really important fro their future (9 months of pregnancy and 2 frist years of life). UNICEF, in this aspect, teach people in those communities with maltutrition problem, so they are able to diagnose malnutrition in babies, childs and adults. This ONG, also teach and helps mother's nutrition for breastfeeding their babies, to not pass on any dissease to their babies.

How does feeding affect our life's quality?

Because this is telling us to make ourselves conscience about what is happening, because, how is it posible that in one place of the world exists obesity problems, and in another part of the world, people die because of hunger? This question, make us consider how this is posible, and it just make us see the enormous problema with redistribution problema worldwide.
